Break it down for us; what does that really mean? I am a law school graduate and ready to learn from the best.
How long have you been with HFL? I am fresh off the boat!
In 140 characters or less, tell me what interested you about working in a law firm as your career. I have always wanted to work with the most brilliant people and to learn from their experience and knowledge. Watching hard-working people inspires and encourages me to seek more knowledge and skills and be a better version of myself.
Why do you do what you do? First, I love to learn and then I love to help others. Also, I like to inspire people, especially people around me.
Tell us, what are your legit credentials? I have a master’s degree in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and a bachelor’s degree in Law and Political science from Afghanistan.

Tell us a fun fact about you that you can share. I have lived in four countries and four provinces within Canada.
Tell us your hidden talent. I am a good cook and great at baking.
What energizes you at work? Learning and the amount of support I receive at work.
Whom do you admire and why? I profoundly admire Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for her advocacy for gender equality and women’s rights and for winning many arguments before the Supreme Court of the United Estates.
What are you currently binge-watching on Netflix? I do not watch anything on Netflix, but my husband and I follow “House of the Dragon” on HBO.
Favourite go-to local spot (coffee, retail food etc.) I am sure there are too many good places to eat in the city, but I prefer my cooking, and I cook daily.
