Break it down for us, what does that really mean? I used to get a lot of research projects no one was eager to do, now my practice focuses on Divorce/Family Litigation so I basically live in the courtroom.

In 140 characters or less, tell me what interested you in pursuing law as your career? Since I can remember, people had doubts that I’d become a lawyer, so I proved them wrong and just did it.
Why do you do what you do? I have no greater sense of purpose. It was law or oil so I chose law but I do enjoy what I am doing, so I guess I chose right.

Are you an early bird or a night owl? Early bird!
The best piece of advice you’ve ever received? As said by Randy Pausch, “Junior faculty members used to come up to me and say, “wow, you got tenure early; what’s your secret? I said, “It’s pretty simple, call me any Friday night in the office at 10 pm and I’ll tell you.”
Sweet or salty? What’s your go-to craveable snack? Salty OR sweet. I like to keep it really interesting with loads of variety.
What’s the best thing about working at HFL? The personal and professional support you receive from the other lawyers.
Tell us a fun fact about you that you can share: Prior to Law, I worked 8 years in the O&G sector AND I studied in Australia and I went to school with the son of the “Wolf of Wall Street”.
Tell us your hidden talent: I can play the Simpsons theme song on the piano

Who do you admire & why? That’s tough. I don’t really worry about others. I strive to be a person I can admire every day.
